According to law number 586/1992 Coll., on income taxes, it is possible to deduct your donation from the tax base in the tax return for the calendar year when the donation was sent.
Individuals (according to § 15 paragraph 1 of the Income Tax Act): Individuals can deduct the value of provided gratuitous benefits if their total value in the tax period exceeds 2% of the tax base or is at least 1,000 crowns. In total, a maximum of 15% of the tax base can be deducted.
Legal entities (according to § 20 paragraph 8 of the Income Tax Act): Legal entities can deduct the value of provided gratuitous benefits if the gratuitous gift is at least 2,000 crowns. A maximum of 10% of the tax base reduced according to § 34 can be deducted. Publicly beneficial taxpayers cannot claim this deduction.
We confirm the total donation for the previous calendar year during January. Therefore, we would like to ask you, if you send us a gift, to also send an email with your full name, address, and date of birth. We will then be able to send you a donation confirmation without any problems.
